Privacy on this device
These settings apply to this device only, signed in or not. They don't change anything for the people you chat with.
Settings

| Clear copied links and keys | 45 seconds after you copy an invite link, a room link or your recovery key, it's cleared from the clipboard | Some keyboards and systems keep their own clipboard history, which this can't reach |
You can also hide the screen at once with a keyboard shortcut.
Wipe from this device
From a chat's menu, Wipe from this device removes that chat's saved items from this device, then closes it:
- your unsent draft
- the room password saved on this device
- your password check for its location history
- translations shown on this device
- its entries in search on this device
It doesn't delete the chat or its messages for anyone. Other devices and people keep their copies, and opening the chat loads its messages again.
